Bangkok Motto Contest Project

Background
Bangkok is the capital city of Thailand. It is the centre of progressive in every side such as government, education, and transportation including precious and unique culture that makes Thai people very being proud. Moreover, Bangkok has been selected to be the world’s best city of traveling. For the purposes of Bangkok has to has the motto to represent unique and distinctive and to uses in a variety of opportunities. So, this Bangkok Motto Contest was hosted.
The Department of Education Bangkok Metropolitan Administration appreciates the important of seeking Bangkok motto, and hosts Bangkok Motto Contest Project with intention to the people has a part in this first time activity in 229 years for the capital of our Thai people.

Objectives
1. To make Bangkok has the motto to uses in a variety of opportunities.
2. To publicize Bangkok city
3. To offer student and general public an opportunity to contest Bangkok Motto in 229 years together.

Levels of contest
Divided into 3 levels namely,
1. Primary education level
2. Secondary education level
3. University education and general public level

Duration of hosting
March 9, – July 1, 2011
1. Mottoes received will be started in March 9 - April 30, 2010.
2. The judges will choose best five mottoes from all three levels in May 1 – 31, 2011.
3. Publicize five-selected mottoes and inviting people to vote the best motto, which is impressive and favorable in June 1 – 30, 2011.

Rules for Bangkok Motto Contest
Creating Bangkok motto, which has content to demonstrate unique and distinctive to be proud of the Bangkok, no longer than 30 syllables, ONLY one submitting per one person. Result of the judge is finality of verdict.

Awards
1. The Best Bangkok Motto awarded 500,000 baht
2. The Best of Primary education level awarded 50,000 baht.
3. The Best of Secondary education level awarded 50,000 baht.
4. The Best of University education and general public level awarded 50,000 baht.
5. Award for the voter is 100,000 baht.

A motto MUST be submitted in a form of postal card with clearly address, any submitted such letter will be disqualified and send it to
