อบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ Tye Dye Denim วิทยากร คุณกุญจนาท รัตนวุฒิกร หรือ Yokelia R. จัดขึ้นในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 5 มิถุนายน 2559 เวลา 13.00-17.00น. ณ ห้องไอยรา พิพิธภัณฑ์บ้านไทย หอศิลป์บ้านจิม ทอมป์สัน : The Jim Thompson House

หอศิลป์บ้านจิม ทอมป์สัน ขอเชิญร่วมกิจกรรมอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ Tye Dye Denim by Yokelia, Pokky ด้วยเทคนิคการฟอกสีและย้อมสียีนส์ ที่จะช่วยเปลี่ยนสไตล์เสื้อผ้ายีนส์แบบเดิมๆให้มีสไตล์และมีคาแรคเตอร์ในแบบของคุณเอง กิจกรรมจะจัดขึ้นในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 5 มิถุนายน 2559 เวลา 13.00-17.00น. ณ ห้องไอยรา พิพิธภัณฑ์บ้านไทย จิมทอมป์สัน ค่าใช้จ่ายในการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมท่านละ 500 บาท รับจำนวนจำกัด 20 ท่าน (ผู้เข้าร่วมอบรมนำเสื้อผ้ายีนส์ของตนเองมาร่วมกิจกรรมจำกัดไม่เกินท่านละ2ชิ้น / มีเครื่องดื่มและอาหารว่าง)

เวริ์คชอป Tye Dye Denim by Yokelia, Pokky แบ่งกิจกรรมเป็นสองช่วงคือ ช่วงแรกจะเป็นการเรียนรู้และทำความรู้จักกับเทคนิคต่างๆ ที่ช่วยในการเปลี่ยนสีและลวดลายผ้ายีนส์ ทั้งการฟอกสี, ย้อมสี, การทำ ripped denim และเทคนิคการระบายสีด้วยมือ รวมถึงเรียนรู้เทคนิคทฤษฎีสีและแนะนำอุปกรณ์ต่างๆพร้อมคุณสมบัติ ไปจนสู่กระบวนการสร้างสรรค์

กิจกรรมช่วงที่สองจะเป็นภาคปฏิบัติ ผู้เข้าร่วมจะได้ลงมือปฏิบัติการเทคนิคการกัดสี ตากแห้ง และการย้อมสี เพื่อจะเปลี่ยนสไตล์ของยีนส์ให้มีเอกลักษณ์ตามแบบฉบับการสร้างสรรค์ของแต่ละคน

กิจกรรมครั้งนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของนิทรรศการวิดีโอจัดวาง 2012-2555,2557 โดยกรกฤต อรุณานนท์ชัย ที่กำลังจัดแสดงอยู่ ณ หอศิลป์บ้านจิม ทอมป์สัน กรกฤตเชื่อว่ายีนส์เป็นวัสดุที่มีความเป็นสากลเป็นผ้าที่สวมใส่ที่แพร่หลายไปทั่วโลก ศิลปินจึงเลือกทำงานจิตรกรรมโดยใช้ผ้ายีนส์ที่มีการฟอกขาวและเริ่มต้นจากการจุดไฟเผา ในการเผาไหม้เปรียบเสมือนการเปลี่ยนแปลงวัตถุไปเป็นงานจิตรกรรม เขาเริ่มทำงานด้วยเดนิม (ผ้ายีนส์) และเรียกตัวเองว่าเป็นจิตรกรที่ทำงานด้วยเดนิม (denim painter) นิทรรศการเปิดให้เข้าชมทุกวันตั้งแต่เวลา 09.00-20.00น. จนถึงวันที่ 10 กันยายน 2559

เกี่ยวกับวิทยากร
กุญจนาท รัตนวุฒิกร หรือ Yokelia R. เรียนจบภาควิชานาฏยศิลป์ (Dance) จากจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย และ Royal Academy of London ประเทศอังกฤษ ด้วยความหลงใหลในสาขาแฟชั่นจึงเรียนต่อที่ Raffles International College และเริ่มต้นอาชีพในสายแฟชั่นด้วยการเป็นดีไซเนอร์และผู้ก่อตั้งแบรนด์ Yorata ชุดว่ายน้ำที่มีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัวด้วยการผสมลูกเล่นทางดีไซน์ระหว่างชุดว่ายน้ำและชุดบัลเล่ต์

ถิรพัฒน์ โรจน์ปัญญากิจ เรียนจบด้านแฟชั่นจาก Raffles College of Design and Commerce กรุงเทพฯ มีประสบการณ์ในการสอนหลักสูตรระยะสั้นทางด้านแฟชั่นดีไซน์ที่สถาบัน YORATA Class ปัจจุบันเป็นดีไซน์เนอร์อิสระและผู้เชี่ยวชาญให้คำปรึกษาทางด้านแฟชั่นเสื้อผ้า

The Jim Thompson Art Center cordially invites you to a workshop, Tye Dye Denim by Yokelia, Pokky. This workshop will walk you through bleaching and dyeing techniques to transform your ordinary denim wear into something that is uniquely you. The workshop is held on Sunday, June 5, 2016, from 13.00 to 17.00 at the Iraya Room, The Jim Thompson House. The fee is 500 baht per person (beverages and snacks are included) and the number of participants is limited to 20 (please bring 2 pieces of your denim wear to the workshop).

(This activity is a part of the Video Installation 2012-2555, 2557 by Korakrit Arunanondchai.)

Tye Dye Denim by Yokelia, Pokky is divided into two parts. As for the first part, the participants will learn about techniques related to bleaching, dyeing, ripped denim process and hand painting in addition to tips about colors and equipment. They, moreover, will learn how to create their own design.

As for the second part, the participants can apply what they have learned from the first part into practice, starting from bleaching, drying and dyeing to transform their denim wear into a unique work of art.

This activity is a part of the Video Installation 2012-2555, 2557, an exhibition currently on display at The Jim Thompson House, by Korakrit Arunanondchai, considering denim a universal fabric. He, considering himself a denim painter, started to make his denim painting by bleaching the fabric and then burning it. The burning represents a transformation of an object into a creative work of art. The exhibition is run from now to September 10, 2016 and the gallery is open daily from 9.00 to 20.00 (free admission).

About workshop leaders
Yokelia R. graduated with a bachelor degree from Chulalongkorn University, majoring dance and furthered her study in dancing in the Royal Academy of London, England. With her passion for fashion, she decided to study fashion design at Raffles International College. As a fashion designer, she has her own brand, Yorata, introducing a unique swimwear, a combination of swim suit and ballet clothing.

Tirapat Rojpanyakit studied fashion design at Raffles College of Design and Commerce, Bangkok and taught short courses in fashion design at YORATA. At present, he is a freelance designer and consultant about fashion.
